A good fix for the missing 6th gear
With about 2000 miles on the new pully, I have no squeaks or obvious extra wear on the belt. Fuel economy went up, my speedometer is much closer to accurate, and I don't feel like I need an extra gear anymore (as much, at least). No complaints.

Great and easy to install even as a novice
Works well. There is a YouTube video out there of a guy installing this and that's how I learned to install it. At first my belt squeaked really bad, so I loosened it and no more squeaking. I am a novice on mechanics and I could do it, so you can too (as long as you have the tools). Really gives the VN900C the smooth feel you want and is perfect for highway riding now. It really lowered the revs.

Love this thing
Wish I would have done it sooner, only having 5 gears it really gets you close to feeling like you have 6. Easy to install and fixes the speedo to be accurate. Can hear it ease on the engine’s rpms as well.

Rubs on lower guide!
Items looks well made. after install a very loud noise. the belt rubs on the lower guide. Took more time to resolve this than to install the belt, I suggest adding this to an installation guide if there is one. other than that RPM dropped and bike runs well

Worth every penny! No more searching for 6th gear.
My order shipped fast! I was able to put it on my bike with no problems. However, making sure the belt was tracking correctly and the wheel was straight took some time, but it was relatively easy, just time consuming and tedious. This absolutely changed the way my Vulcan rides. I have not done the rear pulley and honestly I probably won’t. I’m 210lbs and I ride with my wife quite often, and just installing the front pulley made enough of a difference for me without losing much low end grunt. I can now cruise at 70mph and the bike feels perfectly comfortable with no buzzing. Even with about 400lbs of rider/passenger on it, it’s can still easily keep up with my buddy’s heritage deluxe. I think installing the rear pulley would be a little much if you and your passenger were over 400lbs combined. You would definitely be needing more torque. However, if you’re a person around my weight and are always riding solo, you may enjoy replacing both pulleys. But for me, I’m perfectly satisfied with just the barons front pulley. For the folks who say “just replacing the front pulley makes no difference”, they obviously don’t know their very well and have zero feel for the increased ratios. It was money well spent, and I would absolutely recommend the Barons pulley over the scootworks. The fit and finish were perfect, and I have ZERO belt noise, just as it was from the factory. Get yourself a belt tensioner gauge and set to factory setting, you’ll be good to go. No more searching for that 6th gear!

Better Performance
I had this pulley installed on my Vulcan 900 Custom at my local motorcycle shop so I can't speak for ease of install. I do know that it made cruising at highway speeds way more comfortable. I didn't purchase the rear pulley, just this and it still definitely makes a difference. It will throw off your speedometer though. Previously when my speedo read 60 my actual speed was 58, now when it reads 60 I'm actually going 62. I didn't have the shop adjust my speedo because I think I'm the winter I'll have them install the rear pulley as well. I commonly take highways that are posted 70mph and while the bike can handle it, I'd rather a little lower rpm still.

Transformation
This front pulley transforms the ride. Very little acceleration is lost and the cruising speeds of 100/110kmh and now more relaxed and vibration free. Straightforward to install with basic mechanical kowledge
