It is a good miroscope for what I am doing! **Q: Can you see organelles?** A: I would venture a weary yes. I havent quite gotten to that point yet. But i have seen larger cells (bacteria and yeasts i believe) that have burst open or been crushed and have seen some of the structure inside. However I have yet to order stains, so I havent done much on that front. My scope came with dirty optics, but after a cleaning the 40x objective 25x eyepiece (1000x) pulls a decent image to the eye without immersion.
