Creates smoke as required. Not a snug fit in bbq. Takes up space for food.

Really well-made stainless
Good design. It's really cool. I have this and I also have a long hexagonal tube pellet smoker. I know the tube pellet smoker will last a good 7 hours plus, for low and slow cooking, I'm not sure of the smoke duration on this. You'll probably need a cooking blow-torch to get the wood chips lit and kicking out smoke independently of the food cooking with a self-sustaining internal slow burn of the web chips. I will try it in due course and report back.

Unusual SS trinket box
No good as a smoker but OK for you wife to use as a trinket box

Clever device
Works very well, like pretty much all Cadac products) advice given is to soak the wood chips before use. I found that if you do that you’ve finished cooking before it starts smoking so I don’t do that. Trial and error, find what works for you but when you do it’s very good.
