OK, I'm probably one of the few people on earth who haven't used a food processor. I was needing to make large batches of home made dog food and my blender was not cutting it. This machine is wonderful. I highly recommend it. Haven't had it for a long time but I find it easy to use and very efficient. Sure has made my life easier. Update- Still loving it. It's a workhorse. Great machine!

I almost never leave reviews but I like this product so much. I've had 2 other fancy food processors for 5 times the price as this one which don't compare. The GE is so easy to clean! No little hidden valleys when food bits can get caught. Dishwasher safe. Plenty powerful and large enough for my needs.

The plastic seems like it might not hold up, so I recommend buying the Assurion protection plan to be on the safe side. Chopping blade is mostly just to puree. If you bigger pieces, use the discs (and even then, it's gonna be either slice or shred. This might have been only a 3-star, but for one feature I think is great: There's no rubber/plastic ring in the lid that needs to be removed and cleaned. That make this much easier to wash and I have less worry about bacteria collecting. The food chute does have to sizes: normal and tiny enough for mozzarella sticks. I bought this thinking it would have a wider food chute but that is not the case.

We are vegan and eat lots of hummus and veggies dips. We use ours at least four times a week. It's easy to use and clean. Our last one was not easy to get clean, and we're so excited to have this one. It also chops up veggies and nuts for recipes. Simple to use and durable! Win-win!

This product arrived the first time in badly damaged packaging, and the product was not properly protected and had been jostled. It looked used, the top was forced inside the bowl, and it was dirty all over. I returned the item and requested a replacement. The replacement came in a damaged box and did not have the two shredding disks that come with the food processor. These appear used and certainly incomplete. Order at your own disappointment.

I wanted a food processor that was not too heavy because I like to keep it in the cupboard and set it on the counter to use. I also wanted one that was easy enough to use that I did not have to read a 50 page instruction booklet. This one is very user friendly. My old GE food processor just quit after over 10 years of use so I tried to find the same product. They apparently do not make that particular unit anymore, but this one is very similar. Very happy with my purchase!

Compré el procesador de alimentos marca GE el 12 de mayo del 2024 con toda la confianza que GE es sinónimo de calidad. Tengo experiencia con diferentes marcas de procesadoras de alimentos (Oster, Hamilton...) pero esta al inicio se sintió que no tenía la suficiente potencia, a la tercera vez no prendió por lo que, como todavía tenía la garantía de 1 año con GE y supe que Mabe es la responsable de GE, me comuniqué con ellos para hacerles saber y vaya sorpresa! NO me quisieron hacer válida la garantía, que ellos sólo "hacen la garantía de línea blanca" y de ahí no los saqué...no me dieron solución, aaaa!! Y aparte pésima atención al cliente por parte de Mabe. Como ya había pasado los 30 días con Amazon supe que ellos claramente no eran los responsables de darme solución a la situación sin embargo me comuniqué con ellos para que supieran el mal servicio de Mabe y su "garantía" que no respetan. Sorprendentemente Amazon me reembolsó el dinero (sin ninguna obligación). Escribo esta reseña con el fin de informar que en mi caso: -El procesador de alimentos dejó de funcionar después de 2 veces -Mabe (responsable de GE) no quiso hacerse responsable de la garantía que por derecho tengo de 1 año después de la compra. Advertidos están.
