How is this product extracted - chemically?

It is extracted from a high-quality ancient rain-forest shale, then it is extracted with distilled water. It never touches plastic, and is the highest quality mineral available in the world! It is so strong that it can make a normal person go through a cleanse within a matter of a day! When people are cleansing they report strange things, including, but not limited to, hurting feet, headaches, strange bowel movements, flu like symptoms, cold like symptoms etc. etc. etc. these things do go away...

Is this golden or black in color?

It is high-quality, so it is a golden amber color. Any product that is black means that it is low-quality because the black is just carbon and is indicative of a chemical extraction.

I use a Brita filer on the water. Is that adequate?

No. Brita still allows chemicals through like fluoride which is very detrimental to your health. I only use distilled water as they suggest.

Is this product tested for lead, mercury, and arsenic? i read that some products contain these made in the usa
