Victorian Trading Co. Drippy Old Candle Nightlight with Warm Glow

Real cute nightlight for a kitchen or bathroom very soft glow. I did pull out the wick and trimmed it was a little too long and looked silly. Also I discovered to change the light bulb the candle piece lifts off from the holder.

The coloring is a little off compared to the photo but it's something easily overlooked. It's very cute, a little cartoonish but I'm using it in a gothic horror/Lovecraftian horror themed room so the cartoonish look kinda works. It also has the right amount of light, not excessively bright or dim.

This item is not as described. It's not ceramic, it's plastic. And it's not painted, it's just colored plastic. Like one of the other reviewers, I thought the holder the candle sits in was (bronze-colored) metal, but it's a peanut-colored plastic. I'm somewhat disappointed, but it's still cute enough for me to keep it, especially at this price.

I bought 2 of these Old Candle Nightlights. One for my kitchen and one for my powder room. They were in good condition upon arrival and worked fine. I like the fact that each came with a bulb. I also like that the bulb can be replaced if it burns out (unlike some night lights). Gave it a 4 instead of a 5 star rating because the night light does not swivel. You can gently turn it on a slight angle (if desired) to make it more visible depending where you have it. Reasonably priced compared to other similar night lights.

Looks cute and great for my old home. The light is a pleasing orange color which I like. Light seemed to be enough to guide my older in laws to the bathroom in the night.

Very cute, and perfect for my historic house. Possibly a little overpriced? I recently bought a much nicer nightlight at a local store for another room, and it cost about half as much. In the photo, the candle holder appears to be gold, which I assumed would be metal or gold-colored plastic. It's brown plastic. Not a deal-breaker for me, but it was a bit of a surprise. I'm including two photos: the one with my hand is just to show you the actual size.
