Nordic Ware Meat Grill Microwave Spatter Cover, 10-Inch, Multicolor

First thing I noticed it's made in the USA. It doesn't feel flimsy, and well made..

Have had one for decades, needed another and 2 more for my daughters. Finally found them on Amazon. Great for bacon. Quick and clean in the microwave.

Excellent! Perfect bacon in only 2 minutes and 20 seconds. Extra crispy bacon in 3 minutes. That is in my 1200 watt microwave. The lid works fine, keeps grease from splattering all over the inside of the microwave, no idea why people are complaining about the lid.

I haven't used the bottom part yet, but I WISH the cover had some tab or had a way of hanging it up on the wall. Right now, it lives on top of the microwave with a tv tray with other stuff on top of the microwave. I haven't figured out how to hang it so it's not on a flat surface, but reachable near the microwave. My cabinets are SUPER small, so I don't have that much room to store it, plus, the whole point is to have the cover handy. I think it could be a bit larger in diameter. I don't think my plates are overly large, but it doesn't cover the edges of the plate. I own older Nordic Ware and they were much thicker and seemed higher in quality. Like everything else, quantity and quality is lessening. I think this product works as described. Then handle is formed out of the semi-opaque lid, which can make it difficult to pick up if you have a medium to large hand. Other than no method of hanging and the handle is a little iffy, it should work for most cooks.

Love the updated design! We had one of these grills for several years but lost it during a move. The new dome top works great for keeping the microwave clean. It does clean better if the remaining grease is wiped off before washing. Love the product!

This Nordic Ware plate is great for cooking your bacon. No more hard, dry bacon strips; this makes bacon cooked good and moist. You actually enjoy your bacon because it is not hard and super crispy. The opposite side is great for cooking foods you would usually use a plate for. No more grease all over your bacon and moisture makes it better.

This microwaveable bacon tray arrived today. It was wrapped nicely and seemed to be nice until I unwrapped it and noticed chips/rough edges (see photo) in two spots in the rim on the smooth side tray. Both sides looked like they needed a cleaning even after I washed the tray initially. I would describe the surface as having clear spots or stains. I removed the product sticker when washing under water. It peeled off and stayed in one piece so I set that aside. I did try the ridged side of the tray by cooking two strips of bacon in the microwave. The cooking process was fine and the cover worked well. It did a nice job with the bacon. The size of the tray was fine for my microwave. Basically, the tray did not look pristine to me and did have some seeming surface wear. I will keep it and see if the ridges chip. It was an okay purchase, but not totally satisfied with the manufacturing quality result of the product.

I had one of these for over 10 years before I decided to replace it because of the color (it's hard to clean completely so mine eventually was stained with grease). This seems to be exactly the same product. Has to be the easiest and most convenient way to cook bacon, and ends up crispier and with less fat than a frying pan. I usually put 5 slices on it with a paper towel on top, microwave for 4 minutes, replace the paper towel with a fresh one, then another 1 to 1.5 minutes. Perfect and crispy! Great deal too!

Excellent 2-side microwave tray: versatile — ribbed and flat sides, good volume — high cover and ideal size fits to most microwaves. Never was plastic taste or smell from food. A little bit difficult to clean ribbed side but it is absolutely no problem

Bought the meat grill/plate with lid. Love that the plate is 2 sided grilled/flat. Great it has a splatter lid. Good and strong.
