Works great! Fits lightbulbs easily. Very easy to install. Didn't realize this was a thing until I looked for a lampshade adaptor on Amazon. Have purchased two and both are doing exactly what I got them for - converting lampshades without harps. Don't really see them in the lamps I've used them in, but appearance by themselves is fine. Doesn't interfere with the light coming through either. Finial on top fits great. Highly recommend and will definitely buy again if needed.

I ordered this because I was converting a shade on a tall floor lamp (one of those outdated torchieres with the glass shade, rimmed with metal) to a linen cloth drum shade. I haven't bought a harp, or harp-like item since the mid 2005's. This item came well packed in a box, surrounded by protective brown paper. It's a moderately bright, polished gold, but not one that looks like it was spray painted. it's the gold that looks like actual metal/gold. It's a bit on the flimsy side, but it does the job. I considered removing one star for it's fragile feel, but it truth if it was more hefty it could have broken the bulb. However, I was convinced it would bend while I put it on the bulb, and had I not been very, very careful. I am sure it would have. It did clip on easily, and the new drum shade (a fairly large shade at 12 inches high) does a great job updating the look of the lamp. You would never know that it started it's life in 2001 as a tacky torchiere from Kmart. All in all, I am happy with the product. I just wish it didn't feel like it would bend so easily. If I have another similar lamp to convert, I would buy it again. Converting the lamp this way saved me well over $100, and I am ok with that.

Arrived right on time and took all of 30 seconds to install—no tools, no drama. The design is genuinely clever; it turns a “how am I going to attach this shade?” situation into a non-issue. The gold finial leans a bit more shiny/brassy than brushed, and the metal feels a touch lightweight—but on a floor lamp, it’s barely noticeable (read: out of sight, out of mind). If you’re trying to skip the whole harp setup, this is an easy, budget-friendly fix that works. Would absolutely recommend.

This was perfect for my lamp that needed a new shade. Super easy to install. Very stable on the bulb and shade stays on perfect. Gold color wasn’t cheap looking. Beautiful up grade for an old lamp.

Redid my lamps bc let’s face it…..lamps are expensive!!!! These shades were just what I needed to put a little color in my living room! I chose the birds bc they reminded me of my sweet mama and mamaw. Easy to put together and I think they turned out perfect❤️

Perfect solution for a thrifted shade I found that didn’t fit the lamp base. Easy to setup!
