The silicone sweep on the bottom edge of my new glass shower door didn’t sweep at all. It was supposed to sweep across the top edge of an acrylic tub. Instead, the sweep on the 1/4 inch glass door stuck as it passed over — a nuisance at the least and a glass-shattering catastrophe at worst. My plan was to spray the silicone on the top edge of the acrylic tub — only that portion where the door sweep was passing. I did it and it worked. The door glides freely now. No runs, no drips,, and so far, after three weeks, no loss of effectiveness.

works great for sliding door
Use it when sliding door gets hard to move, spray this on and it moves so easily, that it will slam shut with no friction, so be careful if you are used to tugging on the stuck sliding glass door.

Fortunately WD40 straw fit
The red straw that goes into the hole on the spout was the wrong size. Fortunately WD40 straw fit, so it was not worthless. How can they screw this up?

my office chair doesn't squeak anymore
bought it because when I rocked back in forth in my office chair it would squeak loudly... sprayed it a bit with this and it is silent now.
