I wanted to provide gourmet cupcakes for a bridal shower, but I had never piped icing before. Ever. So I bought this and in the months leading up to the shower, I made a four practice rounds. I'm sharing the pics from the shower, which was only my fifth time using this product (or any piping tool for that matter!).I personally found that it worked best to insert the icing from the tip end with a very skinny silicone spatula. When I inserted from the non-tip end, I got more air bubbles. Make sure you pack the icing (I used buttercream) tightly or you will get air bubbles and it won't look as nice.This product worked fabulously! So easy! I love, love, love it and will use it every chance I get! The button that you push with your thumb gives you ultimate control to have a steady speed for the best consistency and finished look.
