Which one is it?** A: I googled in more detail and here is what I found. There are two forms of Propanediol which is listed as the first ingredient of the product. The first form, propylene glycol, is hazardous. The second form, Propanediol (same name), is not. Those two form are different in chemical properties and, hence, have different effects. (See detail below.) I am not sure which one is used in this product. Just wanted to point out that it is possible the product used the second form of Propanediol and may not be hazardous. Other websites say the same thing: *Propanediol exists in two common forms, 1,2-propanediol (propylene glycol) and 1,3-propanediol Safety Measures/Side Effects: Propylene glycol has a number of safety issues associated with it. It is commonly known to be an irritant to the skin and eyes, and cause contact dermatitis and rash in humans. However, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry disputes the level of toxicity and says "propylene glycol rarely causes toxic effects, and then only under very unusual circumstances." This is probably due to the fact that propylene glycol is generally used in low concentrations and very few people being sensitive to it at such concentration. Despite this the FDA has it approved for general use under the number E1520 and can be used in cosmetics according to limitations in concentration (Cosmetics Database). The National Library of Medicine classifies this ingredient as a skin and eye irritant and study has shown that inhalation of the compound as an aerosol poses no significant risk (Informa Healthcare). **Q: It says 3 pack but says a single stick in description, which is it?** A: Just one stick was sent to me; $18 for a single stick of deodorant! **Q: Does this leave greasy stains on the underarm area of clothing?** A: I don't know about the clothes but it left my underarms sticky and it didn't dry fast. I wiped it off and threw it away. **Q: Fragrance (parfum)?? Is that natural one? It says no phthalates...** A: Yes, it does say no phthalates. Does that make it natural? I cannot say. But what I can tell you is that I have used Jason underarm deodorant for years, perhaps ten or more, and it is the only brand I have found which does not cause a rash.
