Batman: Damned Hardcover – Illustrated, 10 September 2019

it was a gift for a close friend and he was very happy

I wanted to read this comic, but there was no paperback so I settled for hardcover. Never buying anything that is hardcover ever again.

The book was delivered on time and in excellent condition. The artwork is extremely beautiful but the actual story itself is a bit average.

For this for my husband for a Christmas gift and he read it in about 3 days!! He said the pictures were phenomenal and he wants to get another one like this!

Ignoring the controversy of Bat privates, this is a definite worthy purchase for avid Bat fans. Art is dream-like, eerie and beautiful. Narrative is disjointed with purpose but the writing of Batman Elseworlds or otherwise kind of lacked, painting him as a bit more cruel, narcissistic and broken. The end kind of typifies sound and fury signifying nothing to quote Shakespeare. I liked the journey but did not necessarily love the destination.

This is a good read and I like the art if you’re a Batman fan I’d say get it

During uncover from foil I have ripped the snowy foggy cover of the book, don't make the same mistake 😀 cool book btw
