I brought this filter to reduce the second hand smoke from my neighbor coming in via the bathroom vent. I wasn't expecting it to remove the smoke significantly, but if it can lesser the smoke odor just by a little would help greatly in my asthma. I monitor the smoke level and record it everyday. But nope, this filter does not reduce tobacco smoke at all, not even for 1 day. If it works for a week I would have been ok with it.
