DeWalt Accessories DW4905 6" Crimp Wide Wheel

Super wide wire wheel. Professional quality. I would purchase again.

I have used this many times and it holing up well. The bristle wire doesn't break and come flying off the wheel like others I have used

It works great, but the 6” Dewalt bench grinder I use it with and assume it’s made for doesn’t seem to work the best. It hits the side cover forcing me to remove it so it stops. Aside from that the wheel holds up well and hasn’t started shedding wires yet. The grinder is already pretty vibration heavy, but this doesn’t affect it. It cleans off everything need it to whether it be rust or some slag. Dewalt wether it be tools or accessories haven’t disappointed me too much over the years and this is no different.

Good wire wheel

This appears to be better than my old Vermont American wire wheel. It works like a champ. It is one inch wide which works for me but be sure you have room for a 1" wheel before ordering.

Very abrasive and solid. Wide face that does not have much give when pressure applied. If getting in grooves/crevices that require flexibility in the wire face this is not the route you wanna go. Awesome for tougher applications that just need brute force and very course abrasive approach.

This wheel is a beast! Thick and strong. My last wheel was copper, and this wheel, being steel is much harder and works much better. I wish I would have bought it years ago!

Use a bench grinder and this brush to care for my mower blades, other tools and house projects. Arrived on time and works great. Well built balanced and doesn't lose the brushes as easily as the bargain brands. Would buy again.

Effective at removing rust from surfaces. Haven't tried on painted surfaces yet. Wires are stainless steel.
