Nockturnal-X Lighted Nock for Arrows with .204 Inside Diameter Including Victory, Easton and G-Uni Brands, Green

These are good Nocks, weghing in at approx 15 grains. For some reason these don't function as tracers as well as other brands, maybe they aren't as bright in flight, but are still bright enough to be visible at a distance in the woods. Reusing them can be an issue after a pass through shot on an animal --Blood gets into the plunger cavity and dries, making the plunger stick and the light come on faintly, or not at all. See pictures for example of a blood filled nock, and a stuck plunger that drained the battery.

Enough said in the subject. I must have had good luck as these all have worked fine for me every time. They did not change arrow flight at all and have helped in a major way by allowing me to recover every shot I have taken and of course being able to precisely see where I am hitting the animal. I would have lost 5 arrows with broad heads if not for these nocks. I was unable to see the nock during daylight once in the ground but once it gets dark they stand out big time. So you do the math.. full arrow with BH is $20 so made my money back with this investment. Wish they were a bit brighter as a bit hard to see during the day.

First and foremost let me say these are some of the best nocks I’ve ever used. I’ve shot these for tons of rounds of practice and sling several in the tree stand at different animals. This arrow was shot at a block target at distance to confirm pins and shot high. The arrow grazed the top of the target and hit the woven handle causing the arrow to deviate out of the normal path. This was on November 18, 2019.The arrow entered a hay field behind the target and even with the Nockturnal, I was unable to locate the arrow. On November 24, 2019, my neighbor (whose property adjoins the hay field) contacted me and asked if I had lost an arrow. The owner of the hay field had run his mower across the field the day before my neighbor called me which allowed him to see the arrow. I went and picked up my arrow and immediately noticed the nockturnal was still glowing. The attached picture is about 8 hours after I picked up the arrow. The run time on the package states that the nocks have a 20 hour run time for the nock. At roughly 200 hours of run time, my nick is still burning. The nock was destroyed by the mower but the light is still burning. This is a testament to how tough these nocks truly are.If you’re looking for a nock that can help with tracking down your expensive hunting arrows after a pass through shot on an animal, I wouldn’t recommend any other brand on the market. They are one of the best additions I’ve added to my arrows.Installation was tight and the nocks are not an easy push in (Easton Axis 5mm 340 spine) but they hold tight enough that I don’t worry about them remaining on the string when I take a shot. Just takes time to learn how to slide them into the string without activating the switch. These things are money well spent and worth every penny in my opinion.Already ordered another set so I can have them ready when I build my next set of arrows.

These things are awesome. Want to see if your arrow is flying straight or where it hits or goes? Then get these! Easy to find your arrows after shooting. Easy to turn off. Easy to install and seem to last. I have used lighted nocks for a while and love them. When hunting I set my trail cam to record videos in hopes of getting the kill shot and finally succeeded 10-7-2017. After watching video and looking at the still frame when arrow first struck its target. Was a very mind blowing experience. There was a steady streak of green light from the start of the frame through the deer. The arrow even took a dip before disappearing throw the deer. I would add photo but afraid amazon would flag me or worse.

It’s bright!! I love them. They match my set up, but when I say bright I mean bright. You better hit bullseye first shot because after that, the noc is your new target because that’s about all you see lol. That is no complaint tho.You could use these puppies in day light and see exactly where you’re hitting. I shoot from 50+ yards so it’s nice to be able to see where my arrow landed.But I also shoot in the evening until the last bit of daylight, and that’s when they’re over powering.Like I said tho, no complaint on that. Just saying these are brighter than the red lighted nocs.
