Bought this band just before the quarantine. Thought it would be a great band for work, as I cannot have flashy colors or designs as part of my uniform. The band and I have spent the year on furlough, picking up an odd or end here and there, but mostly been my daily driver around the house and doing small jobs around the house. I am definitely hard on my watch bands though, I do not take it off while working or really pay attention to it while pulling wire, working in tight spaces, or near abrasive materials. It didn't take long for the band to break in, the canvas loosened up a bit and conformed to my wrist. The look is quite subdued and a style I really enjoy. I have owned a few canvas bands from Ritche as well as Burton, and they all end up with a certain musk that can be quite unappealing, so be sure to wash the band and avoid showering or swimming with them. My only issue is with the retained loop, it started showing signs of wear early on, but it gave the strap character and looked fine. Now, a year later it actually gave in and wore all the way through, snapping while I was moving a dresser in my home. That prompted me to grab another Ritche band (black on black this time) and toss this one into my vallet for the next time I need to climb into the attic or get some yardwork done. In the end, the band lasted a bit longer than my previous canvas bands, I will likely stick with Ritche for a while, so long as they remain competitively priced and maintain their quality.

I bought this black Ritchie canvas watchstrap to replace the resin strap that comes standard on a Casio Duro dive watch. The all-black strap with black buckle looks like it was made for the Duro. I don't plan on diving or swimming with the watch so it doesn't need to be waterproof. The Ritchie is a bit heavier and stiffer than I expected, but is still more comfortable than the resin strap. Perhaps it will get a bit more flexible and supple as it is worn. Giving 4 stars for comfort now, hoping that improves. Easy to put on with the quick-release spring bars, no spring bar tool needed to change it out once you get the old strap off. I don't know about durability... it seems well made and I'll have to see over time how it stands up. Based on appearance I'll give it 4 stars for durability at this point, and we'll see how it holds up. Recommended.
