Can this be kept out in open area, direct sunlight?

I suppose you cannot keep this outside, because this is plastic and it might deteriorate in case of exposure to direct sunlight for long, best to ask the manufacturer instead . However, this product meets expectations in terms of quality and tons of huge waste container. No regrets and it is one of the best purchases in Amazon I have made yet.

The size is okay for a small household and the finish is fine as well. The plastic used is of good quality and the pedal works fine as well. It would have been good if a small side for attaching or installing the odor eliminators was there. Overall, a nice product.
