Bad sound quality and it says 15 hours battery it doesn’t stay on for 10 hours I returned it and got my money back

I spent ages looking for a good value for money, recognised brand, wireless headset for the PS4. There are plenty to choose from too and massively varying price brackets. This at over £100 was more than I wanted to spend but my only other option was a Turtle Beach headset and I'm not a fan of them. The A20 headset came very well packaged and presented. It was super easy to set up on my PS4 Pro. I love the fact the wireless transmitter takes its audio feed from the optical output on the PS4. It makes it so easy to switch between sound coming through the headset or through the TV, simply by turning the headset on. The sound quality is immense. I'm a bit of an audio snob too! There are 3 EQ modes, Astro, Pro and Studio. Astro is a bass heavy mode which makes dance music sound awesome and explosions have real depth. Studio is at a guess, a flat EQ and Pro is a less intense Astro. I've only tried them with Destiny 2 so far but am enjoying the experience. Comfort wise, I have a fairly large brain so was dubious how comfy they would be as the cups don't actually move. So far after an hour, I have no complaints. Usually my ears start to hurt from the pressure. Anyway, a big thumbs up so far. Time will tell how long they last. Summary, great sound quality, wireless, comfy (even for big noggins), easy to use.

Der Astro A 20 (Generation 1) ist ein großartiger Gaming Kopfhörer und perfekter Einstieg in die Astro Familie! Einfach auspacken die Folie vom Kopfhörer entfernen (etwas fummelig), die Bluetooth -Sender Einheit in die PlayStation stecken und schon kann es losgehen! Das paaren von Kopfhörer und Bluetooth- Sender ist überflüssig da dies werkseitig schon passiert ist. Der Tragekomfort ist perfekt! Der Kopfhörer drückt nicht auf den Kopf und die flip to mute Funktion mutet blitzschnell das Mikrofon was übrigens auch eine hervorragende Sprachqualität hat wie alle anderen im Party Chat mir immer bestätigen. Die Ohr- Polster sind weich und machen das Tragen des Kopfhörers auch bei langer Nutzung ( selbst bei etwas größeren Ohren) sehr angenehm! Die Sound Qualität ist auch überdurchschnittlich gut! Jedoch kann er es nicht mit teureren Kopfhörern der Astro Familie aufnehmen. Bei normalem Gaming mehr als top allerdings bei Shooter spielen ist die Ortbarkeit der Geräusche und der Schritte nicht ganz so präzise! Der A 20 Generation eins ist von daher eine echte Kaufempfehlung! Aber Vorsicht es gibt auch eine Generation 2 (2020) er verfügt über einen modernen USB C Anschluss eine kleinere Bluetooth Sender Einheit und eine etwas längere Akkukapazität. Die Übertragung des Bluetooth Senders ist bei der zweiten Generation sogar so gut das man zwei oder drei Räume weiter immer noch alles perfekt versteht und in der Party sprechen kann! Allerdings hat die Generation zwei einen absolut für mich entscheidende Nachteil! Er verfügt nicht über die Möglichkeit seine eigene Stimme mit minimale Lautstärke auf den Kopfhörer zu übertragen. Da dieser Effekt bei der Generation 2 fehlt wirkt sich das sehr unangenehm aus , da die passive Geräusch Unterdrückung die eigene Stimme quasi raus filtert. Also wenn ihr noch die Möglichkeit habt Kauft besser den A 20 Generation eins!

Pude probar un tiempo el modelo A50 y tras fallar me compré este A20: la calidad de sonido es casi la misma, no necesito mas, el microfono la verdad q es lo q mas decae, aun asi, decente para jugar con gente a shooters o lo que sea, comprar algo mas caro solo rentaria si te sobra el dinero.

Tutto è figo e si sente bene EDIT DEL 10/11/2020 Dopo un anno dal loro utilizzo (con un utilizzo nella media) mi sono ricreduto. Il suono a volte va e viene, questo per colpa della ricetrasmittente che è delicatissima e se posta dietro ostacoli inizia a dare problemi. Per quanto il suono sia davvero ottimo, non posso dire lo stesso dell'ergonomia: mi fanno male le orecchie e soprattutto la parte alta della testa dopo ore di gioco poiché il memory foam preme opponendo resistenza al posto di adagiarsi sulla forma della testa. La parte peggiore è sicuramente il software che non è aggiornato (anche se sono vecchiotte come cuffie) e che non permette piu la connessione wireless ma solo cablata il che per me risulta un problema poiche per essere comodi è necessario avere un cavo molto lungo (e io odio i cavi sparsi, eccetto quelli relativi a mouse e tastiera). La batteria fa schifo, dopo nemmeno 3 mesi di utilizzo la durata media si era attestata a 2 ore, fino a quando la connessione wireless ha funzionato. C'è un bug che non permette lo spegnimento delle cuffie in modalità wireless: questo bug lo riscontrate in tantissimi video su YouTube e non è risolvibile nemmeno con un reset (in quanto dopo l'aggiornamento del software il reset non è più possibile farlo). A questo prezzo non è possibile riscontrare questi difetti, difetti che purtroppo tanti altri utenti hanno riscontrato nel tempo. A saperlo avrei preso altre cuffie, poiché purtroppo non posso nemmeno piu restituirle in quanto sono fuori garanzia e fuori protezione acquisti. È davvero un peccato, perché meritavano tanto inizialmente. Farò un funerale come si deve, disintegrandole a martellate. P.S. La assistenza Astro ti contatta solo se vuoi sostituirle con un altro prodotto, che costa maggiormente..

Really nice, comfortable, softear cups, very large so no pressure on your ears, easy to adjust head band, good quality mic, great noise cancellation in the mic, easy to set up and use on both PS4 and pc. One downside was at full volume you can hear a faint hiss in the background but I've always heard that in wireless headsets. Worth the money imo.
