How much weight can this handle? I am hosting a lobster bake so I am figuring about 45 pounds/ 21kg will be on the unit at any given time. Thank you

I came here to look up this answer. I can say that I've had mine since 2015 and have routinely mashed and boiled wort on the burner. Over 7 gallons. Which would be around 56 pounds. I may have even doubled this up once with two batches at the same time.

I would purchase this to do pressure canning outside. Is there a problem with the weight of a full canner?

No weight issue but as other's have said too much heat. I solved that by lifting the canner off the burner a couple of inches. I scavenged from around our farm - lots of metal objects that can take the heat. If you don't have a source like mine, think salvage yards. A welder could easily make a ring the canner could sit on. Once I did that, the pressure stayed constant and not too high.

can i use it without the legs? or what's the lowest i can adjust the legs to?

No, you cannot use it without the legs. I looked at this too. The propane connection assembly extends lower than the metal shield around the burner. The legs do not have a lot of adjustment, maybe an inch or two. I have the stove packed away with my camping gear and cannot verify the exact amount of adjustment or lowest cooking height.

Where is it made from?

Looking at the previous answers, looks like it used to be made in the usa, but now it looks like it's made in china. In the product details, it says it's made in china as of 5-28-17.
