Great product. Being left-handed, I have to push the pen across the paper instead of dragging it as someone who is right-handed would do. Therefore, with very smooth ballpoint refill cartridges like the Parker Quinkflow, I feel that I don’t have enough control over the pen. That is the same reason I don’t use rollerballs. I want a ballpoint that flows well but still gives me a bit of control by providing just a bit of resistance. This makes it easier for me to write as a left-handed person. This Schmidt P900 does flow very well, but without the aimless feeling I get from the Parker Quinkflow. So for me, going forward, these will be the ballpoint refills I buy.

UPDATE (September 12, 2024) It's been about 10 months since I received the refills and started using one. It finally got to the end of its ink after using it 5 days a week for those 10 months and filling a couple of notebooks. I replaced it with one of the others (I now have 2 remaining) and, like the first, it started writing immediately without any skipping at all. That's pretty good for a refill that's almost a year old without some kind of covering to prevent it drying out. During that year, I kept it in the small plastic bag that it arrived in, so maybe that was good enough. Raising rating to 5 stars. UPDATE (December 4,2023): Been a month with usage every day. Still writes properly with no skipping. Will update later, but for now, raising rating to 4 stars. ORIGINAL: These Schmidt P900 Medium refills with Black ink were ordered on October 10. The estimated delivery date was end of November to early December. They arrived November 2. Fairly surprised since they came from India (Sold By and Ships From chandnibazzar). Total cost was around $8.90 Canadian including shipping (about $2.22 each). They arrived in a package that said they were commercial samples with a total value of $2.00 USD. They arrived via air mail in an envelope containing a small plastic bag that looked nothing like the one shown on the Amazon description page (First picture is what I got, second is what is shown on Amazon). The first picture shows only three refills because the fourth is already in my pen. It fits the pen perfectly; loads and retracts properly. It started writing immediately without having to wait for it to warm up (it was sitting in the mail box with temperatures around freezing for a couple of days). It writes very smoothly with no skipping at all. I will update this review when it runs out; could take who knows how long since some of the 1-star reviews indicate they last anywhere between one day and three weeks, while other reviews do not indicate duration at all.
