I researched many different types of standing desks, and tried out a few other brands that my co-workers use. I opted for the Defy Desk and couldn't be happier. The Defy Desk is simply awesome! First of all, I feel like I can concentrate so much better from a standing position...not to mention how much less fatigued my lower back feels - even after a few hours of use! Secondly, the work space is large enough to accommodate my laptop, mouse pad, and notes/resources/books to which I'm referring in my work - but still compact enough to fit on my desk. Third, it came out of the box pre-assembled and ready to go! It's incredibly easy to operate with a simple and smooth lever to place the desk in just about any position you could want.
