do you have to paint it?

Yes, pretty much every model is unpainted. Only simple snap together kits usually come pre-painted or some Mech kits. They will clearly say 'Pre-Painted' on the box. Paint is also not supplied with the kit, all you get is the plastic parts and you glue it together and paint it your liking, decals however do come included.

The model is from nose to tail, 13.125 inches long. The real airplane is: 52.5 feet in length.
