I bought this knife for my 60 year old father who loves to fish. He told me it was the best knife he’s ever had in his life. Easy to use for filleting!

Using this knife for trimming brisket in a restaurant. The blade and handle are beautiful but the knife is way too heavy and not well balanced. I'm sure I'll get used to it but it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Overall it performs well but for more detailed trimming work I would get either the 5 in. filet, or the 4 in. paring knife next time.
