The lightweight version only saves a little weight and a couple bucks and the oval scales on the grips make it less grippy, so I'm planning on adding some stippling to them to see if it helps. The regular version has excellent grip and feels a little more robust has a better overall fit and finish and it is my favorite of the three.. and the black one I just bought because it looks cool and I wanted to compete my set. If I see another version I'll probably buy it too. These are great little knifes.. if you want something in your pocket that doesn't take up too much room and isn't too bulky then I highly recommend the regular G10 version it's built like a tank and will last a very long time. My favorite mini EDC!!Update.I did some stippling to the lightweight version which helped the grip texture a bunch, but for the money and not having to add stippling. I'd still go with the regular weight G10 grip version as it offers plenty of grip and basically perfect right out of the box. This black version with the metal grips feels very well built but the metal grips are smooth and offer the least amount of grip of the 3 versions. I'm glad I added it to my collection, but the regular G10 version is still my favorite for my minimalist EDC stlye. If I was going to buy and have just one I'd get the G10 version hands down. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice gift for someone that can't operate a liner lock *by B***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2023* Some people lack the dexterity in their thumb to easily and safely operate a liner lock, and should be using both hands to close a knife. Action was stiff, a bit hard for some to open one handed but should smooth out with regular use.
