Review: Brilliant, would recommend from birth - Brilliant, great build quality and lots of handy features. Would recommend. Wish these were about back in the day and I would have just bought this and a carrycot insert instead of waisting money on a travel system. Breeze going up kerbs, boggy parks and uneven pavements. Break feature is fantastic for going down hills. Not the reason I purchased but actually, it really saves your back from being jerked about when manouvering over terrain. Love the mesh feature in canopy. I featured a photo to demonstrate how brilliant the extending canopy. This was the main reason I decided to go for this model rather than the basic and although hefty price tag, for me it was worth it. I see so many of those towel type covers fully covering buggy’s in the summer and it’s a bit concerning so many don’t seem to realise how dangerously hot it can become in there! The basket has a handy cover and although a bit smaller than I’m used to from my travel system Uberchild, it is larger in comparison to other all terrain buggy’s. Love the key pouch very handy, drink cup and comes with rain cover. It’s a shame the padded liner is a separate purchase as I feel this would really extend the longevity, and likelihood of it being passed on for further use and reducing our throw away culture. I love the style and colours, and the wheel design. Handlebar feels plush and soft and the possibility to raise and lower means my +6ft partner is can now push a stroller without slouching finally! One key point to note though, in the manual it says this is not suitable for running. Which given the style and the name RUNNER, I feel would be quite misleading. I didn’t plan to use it for running so can’t comment on whether it’s doable but I couldn’t see it being a problem at all.
Review: Absolute Unit of a Pram... - This is our second Hauck runner, we had the original black and neon one for our first child. That is a good pram for the price but a bit utilitarian in places. We got the Runner 3 and that takes all of the good bits of the original runner and knocks off some of the sharp edges. It is still Massive, but this is good for ground clearance and stability, will go over roots with ease. Also I'm a big fan of the plastic foot plate, once they start walking and jumping on and off it means the fabrics don't get covered in crud. The recline controlled by tightening or loosening a strap is both easy and gives baby a little hammock like movement on the move. The rain hood is nicely fitted, covers it front to back and stays on, and the height of the pram has meant in really bad weather I've put the rear flap over the handlebar and sheltered sitting under it myself In terms of Runner 3 specific things, I like the brakes, the original one nearly got away from me on a steep dry gravel path at one point with this you pull the handle and the brakes are good enough to lock both wheels if you wanted. Suspension, it's not the most plush but compared to the original it rattles and thumps less on rough surfaces and it feels smoother to push. The hood is a big improvement over the original runner which is a servicable and tough but fairly unpleasant material. It also didn't go far enough to provide full sun shade. The hood on the 3 has a zip half way down that allows it to extend and opens a pair of vent windows in the sides, so we won't need a separate umbrella. Also it has a little pocket for keys or a small purse/wallet in the back of it which is lacking on the original and 2. Cupholder can take a drinks bottle..and fairly basic but nice the 3 has one. It has a nice cover over the oddments basket secured by magnets. Both feel very tough, the 3 is new the original is now 5 years old and has done probably a 1000 miles without even a puncture. Negative points: it's not light, but you knew that, but pushing it with the big wheels is easier than much lighter prams on smaller wheels. It's a very open pram, this is a double edged sword, when the are older it's great easy for getting them in and out. With babies they are quite exposed and you will need to buy an additional foot muff as although the hood is big their feet and body will be in the breeze. In general for a low priced off road pram it's great, I'd not bother with a 2 it seems to be a more expensive original with no real improvements but the 3 feels a lot more premium for the extra money.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing pushchair, use it for light jogging
*by F***1 on 10 September 2020*

So I have only had this 7 days but I feel I must review it now as I absolutely LOVE it, and I was unsure whether to buy it or not. My previous pushchair was the silver cross pioneer which I have used since birth for my now 2 year old and I thought that was pretty good until I bought this!. I had recently finished Couch to 5K and decided to do it again pushing a pushchair and I wanted a jogging type one as the Silver cross wasn't really suitable. I know this said it's not designed for running with but after reading all the good reviews and seeing as the price was reasonable I took a chance. When I unboxed it in my lounge the evening I thought OMG it's huge but in fact the back wheels are the same width as the silver cross. It does have a large wide seat which seems to be comfy for my little one. I have used it for jogging 3 times now and it's brilliant, you do have to remember to lock the front wheel or it can shake, but it glides along really smoothly. I also used this exclusively now everyday walking to school. I bought a Buggy Tug wrist strap just for safety when using it. I will add I am not a fast runner more like a slowish jogger but I don't see why it wouldn't still be great even when I work up to speeding up. It is a heavyish pushchair but for me I know I won't be loading into the car much so I am not too bothered and I am hoping it's good resistance to time my arms!! I just need to find something to out in the tyres to stop punctures as they are air filled. So for me who does 40 mins jogging a few times a week and daily walk to and from school it's perfect.
