Amazon sent open box
Great headphones I’m sure - enough has already been written about them. But worth noting that I received an ‘open box’ item with the seals cut. Kinda gross when you think how deep these headphones need to be inserted…

From what I can tell, this set comes with all the regular accessories (triple flange and foam eartips, shirt clip, carrying case) plus a lightning adapter and the dual-flange tips. When I ordered, this set was actually cheaper than the regular one, and the dual-flange tips are my favorite so I'd definitely recommend getting them. I use an Android so I can't speak to the lightning adapter (presumably it works), but I do find it a little strange that the plug on the headphones is right-angled since if you're going to plug them into an adapter anyway it would be better to have a straight connector. The sound is great, but it's very dependent on the tips you use and how they're positioned in your ears. If they're not pushed all the way in they sound empty and harsh, even if they feel secure. When they're in properly though, they're really quite impressive. You'll hear things in the background of songs that you'd never noticed before. And you definitely *won't* hear anyone trying to talk to you in the room haha, they're basically earplugs that also play music. They're not terribly comfortable. I'm hoping I'll get used to it over time, but they definitely start to hurt after an hour or so. They do stay in really well which is nice. Ultimately, these are pretty much exactly what they're supposed to be. If you just want something cheap to wear all day, get those $9 Panasonic ErgoFit ones or something. But if noise isolation and sound quality are the most important factors to you, these are definitely worth a shot.

Hands down the best ~$100 IEM with a neutral sound signature, and a bit of bass boost. The double flange tips reduces the intrusiveness of the old triple flange tips while keeping up with the noise isolation. Really worth it at this price point.

I received these a few days ago and have been testing them out with my Zoom F6, Rode Wireless GO II units and BMPC4K camera and the audio quality is simply excellent. Being able to have such a high quality set of earphones means no longer having to carry around a cumbersome set of headphones to gauge audio quality while recording. As a one man band, minimising gear is always important and being able to do so with minimal size and weight, and quality, is a major bonus.
