Great living room (~ 400sqft) filling speakers for easy listening. Wonderful on pairing with a T5 subwoofer. Slight overkill though as native bass is relatively good. Got it wire connected. Bluetooth, looks, remote, build quality - great.

I am not a sound quality expert so i cant comment on that but I will say what exactly i wanted and how that turned out. I bought this model mainly for TV watching (I dont like soundbars) by connecting the 3.5m headphone jack of TV with Edifier's RCA ports . If that is your purpose just get it with your eyes closed. A fantastic product that works like a charm. Once you have turned Edifier to max (50 Step volume control), the TV remote can be used to increase /decrease volume and we never need to use Edifier remote again. It gives maximum connectivity options among ll Edifier models - Bluetooth, 2 pair of RCA ports, Optical and Coaxial in total make up 5 devices that can always be kept connected with this and at this price point i dont think there is any other model from any other brand that provides so many at so less. Additionally what was important for me was memory function - In case of power on off, It should remember my last volume and last input and that works flawlessly. Remote range is limited so it really needs to be angled precisely to work. The LED light showing input selected is cleverly designed to show which input is selected - Blue light for Bluetooth, Single green blink for 1st RCA, 2 blinks for 2nd RCA, similarly Red light for Optical and Coaxial. Interconnecting cable between the two speakers is significantly long about 15 feet long. The box comes with the Optical and RCA cables as well as Battery in the remote. Best value for money model from Edifier.

When first I received the speakers, it had some issues, the left speaker had very low and weak sound compared to the right one. I raised replacement request and thankfully I received the replacement in 1 day. The replacement speakers are perfect, the sound stage is so well balanced that sound perfectly aligns in the center even though my speakers are on the sides. It has pretty good bass too and I haven't even increased it from the back. I personally don't see a need of sub-woofer unless you want chest thumping bass. I have it connected with my monitor's 3.5 mm jack, via which I play ps5 games and movies/series with Apple TV 4k and it's just perfect for my setup. Even for music its great and I barely raise it to full volume. I find the sound signature is very close to that of Apple Macbook Pros, crisp and perfectly balanced.

This speaker won’t disappoint you for sure. Once you take these speakers out of the box 1st thing you will notice finish of the product and premium quality of wooden is used so smooth to touch these beauties. Now you see the size of the speaker some may feel it’s little bit on smaller size it felt same for me as well but as soon as you plug in these and play the music my 1st track I played on was (Bijlee Bijlee by Harrdy Sandhu ft Palak Tiwari) you will just feel just wow. I can say छोटा पैकेट बड़ा धमाका । Bass is perfect and more than enough you can say it has audiophile grade sound . You will feel the instrument you will feel every music which somehow gets unnoticed in other speakers due to over bass. So it’s perfect for me.

I bought this item almost a year ago. Writing this review after a year of usage.I use these speakers for only music, I listen to all kind of music. So this review is based on music performance.The sound is crystal clear. Even at high volumes, with Heavy bass, there is only very small distortion I can hear.You won’t need a subwoofer if you are not going to use it for movies. It can produce more than enough bass listen to music. I used to keep it at 50 percent. I never felt I need a subwoofer.It offers great connectivity, no connection loss for decent distance. I used to roam around ground floor without getting disconnected most of the times.Look and asthetics also very good. It actually improve your room asthetics.I’m not an audiophile, but love to listen to crystal clear audio with lows mids highs well classified. For me, this worth every penny and I’m completely satisfied with this buy.I have a Sony home theatre system for movies. Before buying this one, I used listen to music with that system(N9200) only. But edifiers are definitely best.If you are looking for good studio monitors, this is unmatchable in this price range.Give it 20 30 hours of playtime to burn them in. After that it is totally different beast. Bass improves multiple times. I could feel the change for around first 100 hours.

Best in class.If you are looking for speakers around 30k get this and pair it with t5 absolute class sound. Stopped working after a week no service no response from amazon no proper response from service center given the run around.

Dont think that clarity is poor due to this video..Ith is the problem with heavy compression of amazon site..The clarity is good and the sound is clear..Pros: Excellent Sound quality. High frequency response is good due to dome tweeter. Low frequency upto 60 hz is perfectly upto the mark due to tuned box and the port.Well built. Premium look..Portability..Bluetooth Standard codec connectivity.Optical ,coaxial, 2 aux inputs, remote.Sub woofer pre out.Cons: Mid-range 300hz to 6 khz is low ,but can be adjusted with external equilizer. Around 1 khz should be boosted..Treble is little tinny..may be little boosted response around 10khz 11 khz range..Should be high at 13 to 15 khz range..Due to a dip in midrange , feel that punch is less. But everything can be balanced with external equilizer upto an extent..Summary: Overall a good system better than soundbar due to the low frequency responses from main speaker. But overpriced. Sony soundbar with subwoofer costs 17000rs. Wattge also high. Sound clarity is different.I bought this to add heavy subwoofer of my choice..If add subwoofer the sound is heavy like a 2000 watts system..I add car subwoofer of 300 watts rms..Nice effect and response..Good for bedrooms, may be not good for big rooms..

Honestamente es un muy buen producto, el producto es para quien degusta de sonido a un volumen bastante tranquilo diría yo, si eres de los que le gusta el sonido a volumen alto mejor ve por otra opción, ya para describir el detalle, los agudos son casi excelentes, los medios bastante buenos, estos bafles tienen la ventaja de conectarle un subwoofer de la misma marca o de otra marca, la verdad quien busca un buen sonido y no busca una marca tan cara es una excelente opción.

For the price, I would say these speakers punch well above their weight. I have them connected to my Apple TV via Toslink, which allows me to stream lossless audio, and the sound quality coming from these speakers is very impressive.I used to own a pair of Sonos Five speakers, and I would argue that the Edifier R1855DBs sound just as good when connected properly to a lossless source and streaming service. In my opinion, the audible difference between Spotify and Apple Music or Tidal is quite noticeable.If you're on a budget, these speakers are an easy recommendation. For the money, they're hard to beat.

Świetne głośniki, które według mnie zadowolą większość osób. Dają czysty, mocny, precyzyjny dźwięk (podłączone do komputera przez wejście optyczne). Jak na zestaw 2.0 to bass jest wyczuwalny (odkręcony na maxa), ale jeżeli ktoś lubi jak trzęsie mu się cały pokój to trzeba dokupić subwoofer (jest dedykowane wejście na subwoofer). Zdecydowanie polecam te głośniki.

Hab mir diese Boxen als Ersatz für meine Logitech Boxen gebauft. Der Klangliche unterschied is wie Tag und Nacht. Bin echt begeistert. Betrieben werden sie durch einen AE-7 Soundblaster. Ich höre nun Töne die ich mit den alten Boxen nicht wahrgenommen habe. Meines Erachtens in der Grundeinstellung Basslastig, was ich aber ok finde. Für den Preis eine klare Empfehlung.
