**Q: Do you have to soak filters before using**
A: Hi, it says so in the description. And for the future you MUST rinse ALL charcoal filter until the water runs clear before using.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the individual filter bags?  The dimensions given are for the overall shipping package.**
A: They are approximately 3" by 2".  They are not very large.  I've had them for a while now and they do work nicely in my particular water distiller.

**Q: How long does one bag last until i replace it with another?**
A: Making 1 gallon of distilled water a day I replace it once a month. This is on the safer side, you can probably go a month and a half if you want to.

**Q: what are the dimensions of this item (each)**
A: Each Sachet is 2" X 2.5".  They have more activated charcoal than other sachets made for the same purpose but still fit into the slot for the water distiller.  This makes it work better and longer.
