If you do not enjoy the hobby aspect of gaming, i.e. meticulously clipping and assembling miniatures you may not enjoy this. I would say a moderate dexterity and experience would be ideal for this game. If you are unfamiliar with spru models do yourself a favor and get some spru snips/side cutters. Dont think about it, just get em... You can use a hobby knife to remove these from the sprues if you have a skilled hand but a decent 10 dollar pair of snips will save you much agony and time. As far as gameplay, it has a slight feel of nostalgia in regards to the old Leading Edge, Aliens board game. If you arent familiar with it, hit google. Its a long out of print classic that the minis for this game could also be used for. Solo/coop play is frankly ideal for the current state of the world given the need for social distancing. However, the game pieces are intricately detailed, something you simply couldn’t get with a single-piece molding. The marines will need a touch of paint to really shine, whereas then aliens can simply be assembled and left alone. The gameplay is fantastic and reminds me of a similar game I purchased years ago. The rules are straightforward and easy to follow, and situations can get tense very quickly. Played out a couple scenarios with a friend multiple times with vastly different results each time. This is an excellent board game and made with a lot of fan service in mind.
