We didn’t because it is not sturdy or big enough to put over a fire ring in our opinion. We actually put it in a drawer and never used it.

Can I use this as a pimp cane?

Yes because it will break when you put it over the fire.

How much does it weigh?

It doesnt' weigh very much at all honestly. I'm not sure of the weight. It is more flimsy than I expected when I bought it.
