Can i set it outside on a covered porch without worrying about warping? Anyone have it 1yr from now?** A: Very durable. I am a professional caricature artist and use the easel to draw at events around D.C, Maryland and Virginia. Constantly setting it up and taking it down, drawing for 3-4 hours at a time. I have never left it set up on a covered porch but wouldn’t have any qualms about doing so. Honestly, it will fit a sheet of paper. I tent to tape my pages to guesso boards and that will sit just fine on the easal. However, if you really want to be nuts like I am... Velcro!!! I would not take it on a plane though. Its very heavy. I travelled quite a bit with it and although its very cool looking, sturdy, and easy to set up, its not fun to take on a plane or carry in an airport. If you are travelling with your car to 'plein air' paint, it would work fine. Next time I fly I will take a light aluminum easel.
