They work great!
These voltage reducers are being used to allow me to use a 12v adapter with my coleman inflatable mattresses. The idea being to skip the use of 4 D batteries (weight). The modification allows me to use my Jackery to power and inflate the mattresses when camping while avoiding the issues with D batteries, both the weight and chance of them giving up the ghost at the wrong time, ie. while camping....Excellent value and looking forward to many camping trips.

Great voltage converter
I was working on a project that used a 12 VDC power supple but I added a component that needed 6 VDC. I found the voltage converter and decided to try it. It just what I needed and worked the 6 VDC device without any problems.

perfect for custom car wiring
I used this to custom wire for my e90 a wireless charger. I had tapped into a 12v power supply and needed to step it down so the wireless charger could use it. This worked perfectly on my install.

Easy to install
I have cell cameras that run on 6 volts. I have solar panels that run on 12volt systems. This is a great way to use them for my cameras. I just spiced them in before camera and now they don’t use up my batteries.

tollin motor
use to make a tolling motor speed control needed 6 volt so as not to burn up the servo works well

Unknown quality
I tried to step down a 12 V battery for a power wheels car down to 6 V but as soon as I touch the throttle all the magic smoke came out. The wires are considerably smaller than a ride on car wiring system, so that should’ve been my first clue, but I know nothing about electronics. Let my mistake be a lesson to you

12vdc to 6vdc works well.
The media could not be loaded. I use these on 6v Trail Cameras. I have more 12v batteries than 6v batteries already so I bought a couple of these rather than buying more 6v batteries.I actually use 6v batteries, but wanted to see how this would work if I get more 6v cameras.Works well and should I decide to have all my cameras out at once, I’ll use these until I get more 6v batteries.
