Unisex Expedition Scout 36 Watch

Nice watch,good size(37mm). Effective Indiglo function. Changed the strap(green).

(This review is for the blue-banded 36mm Expedition Scout)Man, this watch ends up on my wrist more often than my others, and not just because it's new to me--it just goes with a lot of what I wear. Jeans, blue, tan, or white shirts, super easy. The watch ends up looking great and not feeling out of place, like my smartwatch did. It is comfortable to wear, with its fabric strap, and is heavy enough to be present, but not super heavy, like an old G-Shock.Indiglo still just wrecks any other form of watch face illumination. It is super easy to read in the dark and looks awesome. The only watch I can think of that does it better is the Casio Forester, which has a super cool 'sunset' illuminating LED. The Forester, though I like it, is more plasticky and "outdoorsy," with its green or brown and velcro strap.A really important thing to bring up that I don't think a lot of people do is the fact that these Timex watches use lithium batteries, meaning they last far, far longer than silver oxide. Silver oxide, you'll get 2-3 years. Lithium? Depending on the size, upwards of 10.The movement is very loud, but not like wall-clock loud. If you are in a quiet place, you'll hear it ticking. I'm wondering if that is where a lot of the returns are from. I can't speak on accuracy, but it's a modern watch. I think any modern, name-brand watch is going to be accurate.So yeah, if you want something a little more stylish than the Easy Reader, you really can't go wrong here. I'd call it a step-up watch; I feel a big quality gap between the $20-$30 class of watches and this $50-ish one. And, when it goes on sale, you can find it for about the same price as those cheaper watches. So go for it!

The watch is louder than I expected. You can hear ticking sound when the room is quiet. I can’t sleep while it is in the room.But on the other hand I absolutely in love with it. The right size and great look. Good for the price. The strap quality is lowOverall all give it 10 out of 10. One of the most enjoyable watches I’ve ever worn.

Not as described, strap was supposed to be natural tan leather but is a blue canvas strap, all over a very cheap look and feel to this watch and not worth the cost, came in a paper FedEx package with no protection. I wouldn't bother with this product.

青緑のバックライト(インディグロ)が美しい。若い頃出たばかりのインディグロを購入した時の感動を思い出す。もう30年ぐらい前。Gショックもバックライトをだしたころだった。今回はどうしても電池式の時計が欲しくて購入。
