Great starter set!
Added a matching 5.5" santoku and a paring knife to complete our set and 4 years later we still love them. The block is half the size of most others, so you don't have to sacrifice a ton of counter space. Very happy with this purchase.

Second set of knives we’ve bought in over 40 years!
Wife said buy these, after using our old knives for over 40 years. Shun has a great reputation and I already had 4 Shun steak knives that I bought over 10 years ago. So, I pulled the plug, and can say it was the right decision. Arrived safe and sound and performs flawlessly! Highly satisfied and recommend!

Qualidade excelente do Kit. Ótimo corte e dureza bem satisfatória para o dia adia. Fácil afiar com pedras de boa qualidade. Shapton pro/glass e naniwa chosera. Gosto da gramatura 2-3k para ela.

Good knife but dull looking finish.
Knife is not expensive looking based on the price. Finish is dim and speckled; almost like water stains or worse, rust looking spots. Very sharp, good feel in hand.
