My mom used this on me when I was a kid, and I used it on my kids and grandkids. I still use it when I have a cold and am all stuffed up. It’s the only way I can sleep at night.

But that is just the original and primary use for the stuff; the list goes on from there.Because of its analgesic qualities, Vick’s works rubbed into sore muscles, it is used to treat toenail fungus, it limits the itching of mosquito bites and speeds healing of small cuts and burns. Rubbed in a few times a day, it is described as a means of minimizing postpartum stretch marks. If you stick a cotton ball with Vicks on it into your ear before going to bed, it is supposed to cure your earache. An open jar or two on the picnic table should keep most insects away. I know this is a vapor rub and it does really well at keep your nose open so you can breathe better.I just really dont like the way it smells. If you are ok with menthol you will love this product.
