I have a small terrier mix (18lbs). Should I buy the large or the junior size?

My dog is approx 30#. He has both a large and a junior size; he plays mostly with the junior hedgehog rather than the large. He's a mixed rat terrier/dachshund/chihuahua/Heinz 57 and "play" for him is throwing the dog into the air and pouncing on it as if it were a rat he's trying to do in. Since your dog is 1/2 the size, I'd go for the smaller size. My larger hedgehog has had his toes chewed off over a 6-year period. The Junior does not have a rattle or a grunter noise which were in the Extra Large/Jumbo sizes I bought for a German Shepherd, only a squeaker inside.

How long can this product be used?

The Hedgehog can last as long as your pet allows it to do so.I have one that as lasted for at least a year and a half.The next one was in the trash in about a week.The small one purchased lasted a few days but I removed the stuffing and squeaker loose threads and it is flat as a pancake but the puppy still has a ball with it.We also have the large hedgehog and its almost as big as our puppy so he is fairing pretty good.If your pet is a chewer do not expect it to last.

I'm trying to order a smalll hedgehog and you say it comes in size. Where is the size selection button?

I see four sizes listed on the first Amazon page. Maybe Amazon has updated the site and fixed the invisible size problem.

Where was this toy made?

"Made in China" by www.kyjen.com and the one I bought has been very durable - lasted longer than any other similar toys.
