Works Well
The one in my truck sort of worked. It only had a two of fan speeds, most of the bulbs were burned out, and a lot of the controls were very mushy. After I replaced this unit all the fan speeds work and the switches clicked on those switches that were not smooth by design. I had replaced the resistor for the fan, about a year ago, thinking it would fix the fan. It did not fix the problem but this unit did. 1996 GMC K1500.

It fits and works well!
I needed to replace my climate controller and this did the trick. It fit perfect and works very well. My truck is a 2000 model GMC truck.

Works well
Went in easily, worked first time. When ac and recirc button are off they still kinda look like they are on, other than that works great.

Bought for 1995 Chevy K1500
Purchased because the old unit was busted from being hit. Mounts just like old unit. Requires adaptor harness. Works as expected. The detents are not as defined not a deal breaker for me. Just installed so I can't rate longevity. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.

Good fit
The new control module was an exact fit for my 98 Silverado. Everything works. Time will tell on its quality. Good value, satisfied so far!

Works, but only with modification to compensate.
Three stars because I feel it should work as a plug-and-play component rather than needing modification of other stock parts. Like other reviewers, the heat stopped getting hot after install. I saw one review where somebody "re-clocked" the blend door actuator. I dug into the dash to get to it, and I confirmed that the new controls were putting the blend door actuator in different positions compared to the stock controls. In order to adjust, I first put the temperature control at full cold and waited for the actuator to get to its limit before turning my truck off. I removed the actuator and carefully took its cover off as to not disturb the gears. I pulled the largest gear (which interfaces with the actual blend door) up on its shaft just enough to have the teeth clear the blue gear (as seen in the attached pic) in order to "re-clock". For mine, I had to rotate this largest gear three teeth counterclockwise relative to the blue gear to assign the new cold position for the actuator. I visually confirmed that this new alignment corresponded to the alignment of the blend door in the cold position (added pics for reference). I snapped the cover back on and reinstalled the actuator. After that, I had full temperature range again with just over 100°F out of the vents on the heat side. Definitely toasty. All in all, I am pleased with it's appearance over the old worn and crusty controls I took out. It's just very annoying with the hassle in getting it to work "correctly" by modifying the stock blend door actuator to compensate for something being out of spec. This was on a 1998 GMC Sierra 1500.

No heat control
Tried this brand in the hope it would be decent quality. The heat control doesn't work, heater just blows cold air.The module did fix the original problem of mixing doors not functioning. Update March 9 Heater blend door actuator which I had changed just before controller was not timed properly.Once I disassembled and timed actuator everything worked just like new.My bad!
