UPDATE*** 4 months later these subs are still hitting harder than ever almost better then when I first reviewed them. Then lows you can geel now, they are finally worked in. Over all happy. From the time I’m in my truck to the time Im out of it these are pounding. I had blown my old school audio bahns subs. I decided to go new for sound and before these I got two JL audio subs not impressed whatsoever things started over heating. I returned them and purchased these skar audios as they were a DVC unlike the SVC jls.

speakers are amazing i just couldn't quite fit them on 2016 Toyota tundra crew rear seat slim box, had to modify. over all price and sound quality it hits harder. easy to install and durability, they can take a punch.

I have a 67 Chevelle. I wanted to keep as much trunk space as possible. So I went with these 2- 10" Skar audio shallow subwoofers. I built some custom boxes to fit on the quarter panel side of the trunk. I was very impressed with the sound from these small speakers in a sealed inclosure and the price was great. Money well spent.

Nice and loud for very little money, sound quality not amazing, but good for the price

I used a pair of these 10’s for a install in a 3rd generation Tacoma (2021 TRD sport) behind the rear seat. The box was a pretty tight fit and had 5.5 inches of depth available for the baskets. The also do extremely well in a small sealed enclosure. I added about 10-12oz of poly fill (so much poly fill.. like a pillow sized clump) to improve the Q of the enclosure. Since these are dual 4 ohm voice coil subs I was able to put a 1OhM load to the amplifier maximizing bang for the buck w/ the amp. Since they have dual VCs they can handle quiet a bit of power compared to the very popular pioneers. I am lowering with a soundstrem 4500.d which is probably 2000ish watts at 1OhM so gains are turned down. It hits about 110-112 decibels playing bass heavy music. Overall I was able to do the subs, box,LOC, 80hz filters for stock speakers, amp and wiring for ~about 500 dollars. A very good value for the sound quality and sound pressure.
