Review: Works With Other Mechanical Pencils Too! - These eraser refills are the best of any eraser refills I've used, and not just for Rotring pencils. These work with Petel Sharp and Staedtler 925 pencils as well (and others), and are better than the native erasers they come with due the the construction of the metal clamp for the eraser. Other mechanical pencil erasers often slip into the body of the pencil due to the lack of backing on their clamps. These erasers mitigate that issue, which is why I only purchase these to refill my mechanical pencils when their erasers run low.

**Q: Do they fit the rOtring 800?**
A: There are erasers made specifically for the 800, that have a little metal wire poking out of the bottom of them. I tried to fit one of the Rotring 400/600 erasers into my 800 and they did not fit, so you'll definitely have to buy the Rotring 800 erasers for the 800.

**Q: It shows five pieces but says in the description three pieces, which is it?**
A: Five pieces (my package came with five).
