Terrific invention!
This will be the second one of these I have purchased for someone. They are so convenient, lightweight, and portable. Especially if your a traveller. It folds up like an umbrella, and can be used like a cane. It's genius.

Great purchase
Purchase this walker because of its portability. I needed something that would fit easily in my car and this certainly fits the bill it folds easily and I can put it in the backseat of my car behind the driver seat. It’s very light only 7 emeror 8 pounds, however it’s still sturdy. It’s easily adjustable to the height that you need and comes completely assembled.

Truthful description
I purchased this walker for my sister with intellectual disabilities. She suffers from osteoarthritis of both knees and surgery is not an option. Her previous walker was hard for her to maneuver around corners and heavy. A friend recommended the Wonder Walker and it is perfect! My sister's gait has improved, she is walking at a faster pace and loves it. Her physical therapist was very pleased with the improvement of my sister's mobility. It is light weight and so easy for me to handle while transport ing her to appointments. Highly recommend.

Lightweight and folds easily
It's a great walker, but had to return as I didn't think about the fact that it didn't have handbrakes or back wheels, just sleds on the back. Folds up easily and quickly, just need brakes. But if you don’t need brakes it's a nice little walker to easily fold and un- fold quickly and it's lightweight as well.

An easy-to-fold sturdy walker
This is a really nice walker, albeit somewhat expensive. If you buy one like this, be sure to get the one with the swiveling, 6" front wheels. The wheels can swivel freely or be easily locked in place. The manufacturer throws in a simple bag that holds a few items and collapses when the walker is folded. It's also a bit heavy for some users as it's primarily steel and weighs about 8 lbs (3.6 Kg). The only somewhat irritating thing is the adjustment for the height of the hand grips. You have to remove a knob and small carriage bolt completely, reposition the grip, then reinsert the bolt. Could be a good safety feature for users who may not be able to correctly adjust the hand grip height themselves. A couple of reviewers complained that the swivel wheels do not lock. They do lock with a simple spring-loaded pin that engages a notch in the frame of the swivel wheel. Align the notch with the pin, push up to engage the notch and push the handle of the locking pin to the side to secure it in place. Another reviewer complained that the skids and the wheel are held on with rivets. They are not. They are secured with hex recess screws. A 4 mm hex wrench fits them; the wrenches are available at most hardware or home improvement stores. Replacement skids or wheels should be available from the company. See the sticker on one of the legs or the included instruction sheet. Best for indoor use as the skids on the rear legs don't work well outdoors or on concrete. They do add stability, however. Ours is great for moving past obstacles in our house as the walker can be easily made narrower to pass through. Recommended.

Great Walker Made Better - Add a Seat and Rear Wheels
After seeing a friend’s Stander Walker, I was impressed with its portability and ordered one. This Walker is great for taking to church, restaurants, etc. because it is so lightweight and compact, yet still sturdy. For my needs, however, it was incomplete since it lacked two features – a seat, and small rear wheels. Being a retired engineer, I eventually figured out two solutions worth sharing that have solved my problems yet do not significantly affect the unit’s weight or compactness. As shown in the attached pictures, NO ALTERATIONS TO THE WALKER ARE NECESSARY: 1). ADDING A SEAT: Amazon carries all items -- one 21” Axle Strap (item “ALL10204”), plus two 3/16” Large D Shackles (item “BOOJH1SL65”), plus two Seat Belt Pads (item “B001JEIHAG”). This will yield a padded sling seat that is about kitchen stool height (26”). {If a longer 24” Axle Strap is used, such as item “B005C2ASRQ” or “B00EEFJ9EA”, the seat will be about 1 ½” lower.} Place a strap D-ring in a Shackle and place the removable piece into the lowest visible hole in the walker’s handle, with the “eye” on the outside so you don’t hit you’re hips on it when sitting. Subsequently place the seat belt pads over the strap, with a small gap between them and with the opening side toward the crossbar and with the double layer of padding on top. [If you use one longer seat belt pad, instead of two shorter ones, then the seat will not fold properly when folding up the walker.] 2). ADDING REAR WHEELS WITH “BRAKES”: If you are concerned about the walker sled feet potentially damaging your floors, or how the sliding sled feet slow you down when walking, consider adding these “Rear Brake Attachments”. Because the Stander Walker’s rear legs slant, however, it is necessary to have a handyman make some relatively easy modifications to the Invacare units before they can attached to the Stander walker. When installed, your walker’s re-installed sled feet will normally rub slightly on the new rear wheels and this will keep the walker from sliding away when not in use. However, when a user presses down SLIGHTLY on the walker handles, the new rear wheels will roll smoothly. When a user presses down MORE FIRMLY on the rear handles, the walker’s original sled feet will touch the ground and act as the walker’s brake, just as originally intended. Amazon carries a Rear Brake Attachment (by Invacare) in several lengths. I used the cheapest and shorter 10” size (item “B005PGD830” for a pair). First, a handyman will have to use a sharp 3/16” drill-bit to drill out the aluminum rivets that hold the wheel assembly onto the Invacare tube. Next, slide the plastic brake assembly up the tube as needed so you can mark and cut off the excess tubing and foot from the Invacare tube just above the last hole in the tube (about 15/16” below the centerline of the drilled out hole). The easiest and best way to cut the tubing is to use a tubing cutter (a 1 1/8” capacity cutter is needed). Finally, unscrew the Stander Walker rear sled foot hex screw and temporarily remove the sled foot (a wrench apparently is also supplied with the Stander sled feet replacements, if you don’t already have one). Lay the walker on its side, slide the brake attachment back over the walker aligning the holes and re-insert the walker foot in the walker leg. Next insert a 1 ¾” long standard #10 Machine Screw (available at any hardware store) through the brake assembly, tubing, walker leg, and sled foot and add the nut, and screw everything together – both the screw head and nut will fit snugly into the existing holes on the plastic brake assembly. Repeat the process for the second walker leg. If you no longer desire either additional feature, either or both changes are easily removable and the walker restored to its as-shipped state. These changes work well for me and hopefully this information will be useful to someone else. /Henry Vaughan

Easy movement- very sturdy- easy storage when not using
I have finally found the walker I have been researching for! I kept my late husbands regular Walgreens walker and Rollator as I knew I would be needing items too. But I also remembered his complaints and problems with each of the items he used. Now Mother Nature was leaving hints of better accept your soon new walking life. I knew I wanted 1) handles that made me stand up at normal height 2) I didn’t want to struggle walking or pushing 3) easy to fold and place away from other peoples walking area when not in use. I FOUND IT a STANDLER WONDER WALKER

The walker is really better than ok...BUT....
The walker is really better than OK, but i am upset over the Glides on the bottom of the legs. You might have to replace the glides every 6 weeks.....and i do not like that. It is a very good walker, compact, light, opens and closes rapidly, stores easily, fits in the car easily....the pouch in front does come in handy. When I purchased the EZ Walker i Called Stander to ask about the glides on the legs. I never had a walker before....the plastic just looked like the wrong plastic to have gliding along the ground. I told stander how i would be using it and they told me the glides should last about 8 months. I felt that was reasonable...If they told me i would be buying these every 6 weeks or find a way to buy in bulk so i would have them when needed, I probably would have returned the item even though it looked good. I own the product about 6 weeks and both glides broke. I called Stander and they said the warranty on the glides are only for six weeks and they will send me a pair at not charge. They were nice, but for a walker of this standard they should upgrade the plastic. I do not know which type of plastic is stronger .....but they make all sorts of plastics designed for abuse....Many guns are made of plastic...I hope Stander reads this. It is a very good product but with a very weak link.
