Good clean fun, and learning too
Easy to use and clean up. Worked perfectly for the physics unit in my 8th grade Science classes with repeated use.

6th Grade Science Experient, Awesome!
Worked great. I bought 3 in case one didn't work. But ended up only needing one since reliability was perfect. So much fun and work as mentioned.

O-ring MUST BE SEATED CORRECTLY
This product has put smiles on probably hundreds of kids and passersby and neighbors and friends and park goers. So I am writing a review because of how much fun we've had. But I am also writing to hopefully help people who are having problems with theirs. FYI ours is one that for some reason always triggers the pressure release valve at about 15 psi. We've been with other people who are able to get higher psi with their Aquapod and if there is any difference in height gosh it's so minimal that I don't notice. 15 psi has gotten our rocket (no fins, or nose cone, just 2L bottle) probably 60-70 ft. The noise it makes, and the slowmo videos really make you feel like you are at a rocket launch. Where we have had problems is.....many times we would have the rocket all pumped up with everybody watching and we'd pull the string and.......nothing. I have noticed in the reviews that others have had that problem too. After much trial and error, we discovered that when you put the bottle on the nozzle you have to make sure that the o-ring has stayed in its little groove. If it has come out of that little groove at all, the rocket will not launch. Sometimes I have to put the rocket on the nozzle 4-5 times before I get it on with the o-ring seated in its little groove correctly. But honestly that doesn't take much more than a couple minutes and some attention to detail...checking the o-ring from every angle to make sure. SOmetimes I've thought I've checked from every angle, only to find that in one little spot, the o-ring came out of the groove. As long as the o-ring is in the groove, the rocket has launched great for us. Note....We have yet to find a combo of fins and nose cone and extra weight and amount of water and amount of pressure that causes a 2L rocket to launch consistently straight without going end over end. But that just means that every time we go out, we feel like we are doing science....testing some small change in the variables. Much fun for ages 3 to 99.

Crowd pleaser EVERY TIME
This would have been season 6 for our Aquapod. I purchased it in 2015 and we've launched it hundreds of times each year. We've definitely surpassed 1000 launches and I wouldn't be surprised if we have over 2000 launches on this bad boy. But alas, all good things come to an end and sadly, this year its plastic frame succumbed to fatigue as can be seen in the accompanying photo. It's understandably the weak spot. I see other reviews where people are timidly pumping it up to 40 psi, etc. As Brian Wilson famously said once, "Not my boys!" We pump it until the pressure relief valve kicks in. Max pressure! Is a design revision in order? Maybe. Maybe the mold could be augmented along the edge where ours eventually cracked. But we extracted full value and then some from the Aquapod. As a father, I've been to every one of my 6 kids' elementary school classes demonstrating Newton's Laws with the Aquapod. For the older classes, I made up an experimental project where we varied the volume of water in the bottle and the pressure and estimate height with a few kids spotting the angle when the bottles reached apogee. You could spend a solid week teaching with the Aquapod. Without fail, when we break out the Aquapod a crowd gathers. It doesn't matter the age, the Aquapod sucks people in like flies to excrement. My kids got such a kick out of our 85 yo retired engineer neighbor acting like he was 12 playing with this thing. Needless to say, I'm writing this review because I came back to buy it again. Can't wait for the new one to arrive in the mail!

Ready for launch!
The most safe and neighborhood friendly way to have fun! We have launched this over 50x and the product is still in great condition.

Disappointed – Poor Quality
Looked fun at first but didn’t work as expected. The bottle barely went up, and it was hard to set up. Very flimsy, and you need extra parts like a bike pump, which isn’t included.

Excellent product
After borrowing a bottle rocket launcher from a friend, the style with tripod or bipod legs you stick in the ground, I determined not to purchase one of those because it's a royal pain to use. When I found the Aquapod at Amazon I ordered it with high hopes. We used it today and launched a bottle rocket about 25 times and had no problem with this launcher. It is excellent. Stable, easy to use and reliable. I used a bicycle floor pump with a pressure gauge, which I believe is quite accurate. It easily handled the recommended 60 psi, and the emergency pressure release unit kicked in a couple of times when I tried to put a little extra in. So it is safe as well. at 40 - 60 psi it sent the rockets upwards of 100 feet or more. I really like this unit and would not buy any other type of launcher. At $25 to $35 it is priced appropriately, and I believe worth the cost. If you want a bottle rocket launcher, buy this one.

My partner and bonus daughter loves it! Easy and simple to set up.

Muy fácil y muy entretenido. tal vez le faltaría una especie de seguro para que no se active accidentalmente el gatillo.

My boys absolutely love this. So much fun

Me gusto mucho el producto, pero llego sin la cuerda para jalarlo ni los empaques "o"rings de repuesto. Tuve que improvisar una cuerda con un mecate...

The Aquapod is easy to use and effective to demonstrate the relationship between pressure and altitude
