No water ever gets under the cover. (We live at high altitude with a lot of close sun and no shade, so it did fade a little.)

**Q: Is the height 20 inches or 24 inches? It is listed at both**
A: It is 20 inches at the edges. There is adequate material to go to 24 inches in the center.  So if you have a grate over the actual fire pit, it will cover that.

**Q: Is there enough room for this to fit a 37 inch diameter**
A: I assume you are asking about the fire-pit cover...and the answer is yes.  I am using it on a 37 inch diameter fire-pit and there is plenty of room.

**Q: is it 36x24 or 36x20?**
A: mine was 36x24 and very high quality product

**Q: Can i spray fabric protector (like Scotchguard) on the outside of the duck cover ultimate?**
A: I don't know - but the cover is holding up very well under the Arizona sun, and worked excellently in the rain.
