Just keep in mind, that isn't what this product is initially designed for, but does help some **Q: is this supposed to mute the sound?** A: It cuts down on the feedback when you are playing through an amp. I would not use it otherwise. To answer your question it does not mute the sound a whole lot. **Q: Does it fit a Baby Taylor bt2?** A: It fits my Taylor 110 firm. If the sound hole is the same circumference of the 110ce then yes. If not no. **Q: Will this fit an Fg 160e? Buen material ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by M***N on 15 May 2012* I bought this to try to control the howling feedback I was getting when putting my acoustic guitar through my new Blackstar amp. The feedback was making the guitar almost unuseable, so I thought I'd try this. I'm glad to say that it's quite effective. Some reviews say it doesn't mute the guitar, but it isn't meant to. It has definitely improved the guitar's useability, I can use it at a sensible volume with no problem. I used it for a gig with the guitar going directly into the desk and it was excellent, no feedback at all. It's a perfect fit in my Gibson J100, my friend uses one on a Takamine, so it seems fairly versatile.
