Keeps everything cold!
Who doesn’t like a yeti cooler? I bought this for my husband. It was a perfect gift. It’s sturdy easy to move around. The handles are really nice. They’re different than the usual ones. There is no doubt yet he makes a great cooler. This is my second one. We do a lot of vacations sometimes driving and we like to pack our cooler with food. The yeti cooler is the only one that keeps the food cold if not, frozen will need to be.

Yeti always works great for me! I recommend!
Can't go wrong with a Yeti. I bought this one for camping trips and back yard BBQ's. As expected, it will keep ice frozen and contents cold for several days. I used it for a graduation party in June and it kept everything cold for about a solid week, even when left outside in the sun (after the party we just stored the extra drinks for a while as we hung out in the backyard). One thing I did observe... if the cooler is warm before you put ice in it, and you put warm drinks in, it will melt the ice rather quickly as it cools down. The ice will cool the entire cooler on the inside and it will melt fast at first. But once it's cool, if you load it with ice, it'll stay cold for a long time. Seems quite durable, and is a bit heavy, but worth it. The drain plug is nice, I only wish it was connected to the cooler. If you take out the drain plug, it will come separate from the cooler and could possibly get lost. Drainage works well. The size on the inside is a bit small, but when camping, I use this for the foods that need to stay cold (meats/cheeses/mayo/etc) and just use a regular cooler for drinks. I think it would be nice if it had wheels because when loaded, it's rather heavy, but the handles make carrying it pretty easy.

Worth every penny!
LOVE this cooler! Got it on sale for prime day. Holds ice and keeps it cold for a long time. It has thick walls and is very durable, it is advertised as bear-proof. Has nylon rope handles with a durable rubber coating. Will easily fit in the trunk of a Toyota Corolla.

Fantastic cooler!
Love this cooler! It arrived in good condition. We took this cooler to a softball tournament for the weekend, we put two bags of ice in the cooler and it lasted all weekend. Best cooler I have ever had. Way worth the price!

Honest review tundra 45
I ended up returning the cooler because picturing with proper ratio of ice in it, I could see there wouldn't be that much internal capacity for large drinks and sub sandwiches, etc. for camping. The price is kinda high for what it is, but the quality is decent and the venom green is a really good color that won't be around long unfortunately. Looking at other options personally, but for other people just using for cans for fishing trip as an example may be pleased as it would fit that need well imo. Yes they make larger, and with that comes higher price than what I was willing to do.

Excelente

Unbreakable, best cooler made
We have one in the U.S., which kept our food safe from a bear's attempted break-in! Nothing but one scuff mark, even though the bear "swatted" it from the top of a picnic table. Purchased a second one for our family in the U.K. and can't wait to take it camping. DO chill the cooler down the night before, if you intend to store food for multiple days (Yeti recommendation). The cooler has substantial weight, especially when loaded with food.

Solid, Midsized, 10 Day Cooler
REVIEW I bought this cooler because my Pelican 45 is way too big on the outside of the cooler and doesn't fit in any car trunk that I have owned. I want to be able to take my 45 with me for car trips. So far I'm really happy with the size and how well it keeps ice. It is also significantly lighter than the Pelican. The Pelican has and needs wheels, but this Yeti just doesn't feel like it needs them. I'm not too crazy about the rope handles yet, but the Yeti has solid handles built in too and these work like a charm. I measured the actual internal capacity of this with water. It can hold just about exactly 32 liters of water and still have the lid close. For comparison, the Pelican 45 with wheels measured in at 35-36 liters (but also has a little lift in the lid that would allow a bit of extra space form the Yeti). Pros * 10 day ice retention seems great, especially in a compact size. * Quite light for an injection molded cooler. * Easy to carry with the molded handles. * Fits in many car trunks, including my Civic. Compact. Not a square! * Nice color. * Quality construction. * Solid: doubles as a seat, step stool, etc. Cons * Price. * Would prefer closures like the Pelican has to the rubber straps. THE TEST I wanted to know how long this cooler will keep ice before I did a review, but I didn't want to wait for next summer, so I set up another indoor test. Test conditions: * 23 degrees Celcius for ~12 hours a day and 18-22 degrees Celcius for the other 12. * Lid opened briefly once a day at the same time to check ice level. * Cooler pre-cooled with icepacks for one hour before starting. * Cooler filled to the top with large ice cubes (you know: the kind your grandma/great-grandma made manually in the freezer trays), these cubes are much larger than store bought cubes and will last longer as a result. Test Result: Still had a little ice after 10 days. Cold water was all that remained on day 11. I don't like other tests where they "simulate real world useage" by opening the cooler multiple times a day and digging around in it. I want to know how long a cooler keeps ice, not how long ice takes to melt in a cooler that is open...so I kept opening to a minimum. I know the cooler will keep for a shorter time if I'm opening it and keeping food in it instead of solid ice, but that isn' the point. See pictures for the start of the test and the various milestones (Starting, two days, five days, eight days, and 10 days).
