This product has a 900 day shelf life** A: 1-2014 worked well.. **Q: can this be used to seal copper duct?** A: I would use it myself but a lot depends, size of gap to be filled,( may have to layer it on. ), is it going to be subject to extreme temps, which should not be an issue. We use it at work to adhere rubber seals onto airplane wings. This stuff is tough. I bought some for home use in all 3 colors, have used the white, we use clear at work. Haven't tried the black. But if anything will seal it, this stuff is premium quality. Depending on area temp, this needs to be in place rather quickly, don't start and then go to bathroom. Average temp will give a 3 to 5 minute window before starting to set. Practice on a small piece first to get idea of set time to work. Clean area to receive sealer with acetone or vinegar. Not sure which would be best, experiment. Will it stick to copper? I just don't know, but can say this is the best sealer I've ever used and the airline industry uses it, just not on copper. **Q: Does it smell?** A: yes, there is an odor of acetic acid, (vinegar like smell) **Q: I'm looking for a mold resistant shower caulk. is the the best there is out there?** A: We recommend Dow Corning 786. Very smooth application, easy to control dispensing volume when moving between large and small gaps. The caulk wipes smooth with little effort. This is a caulk that cures quickly (skins in about 5 minutes) so work and smooth as you go. It has an odor during the curing process so ventilate if your working in a confined space like a shower stall. The caulk lasts for years in the bath area with no discoloration.
