Awesome scope for the price!
I'd like to start out by saying I bought this scope over the 3-14x because in the optical world a bigger objective lens has better light gathering capabilities. That is not the case with these scopes. The objective lens ony determines the base magnification, digital takes it from there. Since I mainly hunt within 100 yds I would've preferred the 3x with a wider FOV. The stock IR performs much better than I expected. When properly focused and aimed I can see a lil beyond 100 yds on the low setting. It would be nice if it came with a pressure switch though. One thing to take into consideration with these scopes is the eye relief is very short! It will have to be mounted pretty far back on the rifle, and it is bulky, which will be a problem for some, esp with bolt actions which may require cantilevered risers. My scope is mounted on an M4 and made access to the charging handle a bit difficult, but an extended latch from Badger Ordinance solved that problem. The focus knob is very stiff too. Very stiff! There are mods, and attachments avail online to help with that though. Other than that the unit performs as advertised, which is amazing for the price tag! The app is cool, and can be useful, but it's glitchy. And sometimes it can cause glitches in the scope. A restart of the scope usually solves the problem. People say there's a learning curve, and there definitely is! Especially if you're switching from traditional optical scopes to fully digital! But don't be intimidated. If you can operate a cell phone you'll have no probs with this, as long as you READ THE DIRECTIONS! Then read them again! Understand them! Especially the part about using GOOD QUALITY LITHIUM BATTERIES!! This scope will eat a set of regular AA batteries in no time! The lithiums last much longer but I suggest getting an external power source if you're going to do any kind of hunting. Do some research, there are cheaper options available than the power pack ATN sells. Fox optic has some good packages. Make sure you get the cap that covers the usb/micro sd/HDMI port!! It supports the cable for the external battery. Without it you will probably damage the usb port from the recoil. That's one of the biggest complaints I've read about. I'll update this post as I get more use out of the scope since I have yet to get out of the range and into the woods. I've included some pix of my latch, and a red fox that I saw during a test run. It's out of focus but like I said, that knob is tough!

The USB is for power only even with a option in the menu for USB access it dose nothing Micro SD card has to be taken out to get pictures off the usb will not do any card reading. The micro HDMI port disables the screen in the scope when connected Bluetooth 4.1 is not enabled in the firmware it is false advertising at this point till they activate it WIFI is only a access point for a apple or android to use the obsidian app to control the scope and do adjustments that cant be done with the scope on bored controls. when connected you also lose any internet on the device your using making the Smart HD Chanel in the app usless while connected to the x-sight 2. All in all this is a great scope though its more of a spendy prototype with future expandability like a Bluetooth rang finder and a Bluetooth remote but remember at time of this review Bluetooth is not a usable feature!! With one shot zero in and multiple profiles you can keep a zero on many rifle and move it around from you flavor of the month rifle. it has its bugs like the GPS locking up and some feature not adjustable with out the app but I would recommend this because it is fixable and firmware upgrades should fix this in the future. When you decide to buy this I have uploaded a video with the first thing you must do and that's update the firmware. This also shows you the user interface and if amazon messes up the quality ill have it in my YouTube channel check my amazon profile for a link. I use this on a FNAR, DPMS G2 SASS, and on a Savage a17 with perfect zero

The product came missing parts! The scope it’s self has started glitching out after only using it once. It has been updated with the latest software from the website and continues to have these issues. It readomly turns itself off and won’t turn back on for a day or so. It also has lots of wifi issues connecting and slowing the app to change any settings. The supplyer and manufacture I have tried to contacted multiple times and neither of them have replied to any of my messages. The scope is literally useless to me and the support services for both the Amazon supplier and atn itself are terrible. I would definitely recomend going with a different brand and supplier.
