Will this fit a new Nintendo 3ds xl with a skin on?

Not tried it, but would give it a try if you want to protect the skin as well as the NEW 3ds XL. Always free returns if it doesn't.

Is this product Waterproof?

Not waterproof but will help with splash damage.

This does not seam to fit my daughte's DS. We can't get it to fit. Her DS has hinges. Do I need to get the other cover WITH HINGES?

Where there could always be a defect in a particular case....this worked fine for me. Make sure it's the "NEW" 3DS XL and not the original 3DS XL that you have. Not sure if the not fitting as you state is WAY to big or small or just a little. Mine fits snug and stays on, which is what you want. Contact seller/Amazon for a return if not satisfied.

How do you remove the bubbles from the case? i put the case on, and on both sides of the 3ds, there are bubbles that i can't remove

Its a hard case there shouldn't be bubbles unless the protective film hasn't been removed.

Arrived quickly, fits well, a little hard to put on because of its tight fit, but feels very secure. Only fits on “new” Nintendo 3DS. Found my 3DS from when I was a kid, it’s all scratched up and with paint peeling, wish I got this cover when I first bought it.
