This QOM2100VH does fit into most QO Loadcenters, but there are a couple different types of Main Breakers out there, so JRL wouldn't be able to determine which one you would need unless you provided more info. on the panel. Unfortunately, no. The HOM1224L125PC can use QOM1 type main breakers. The catalog number for a 100A is QOM100VH.

No. The lug orientation is different between QOM2-VH and QOM2-MVH breakers. Also, QOM2100VH is 100A rated and QOM2200MVH is 200A rated.
