I like it. It took a little getting use to it because it is a little shorter than the store one. But now I like it better than the store one!

Bought this to replace my old standard issue Gillette Mach 3 handle. It is a definite upgrade, more solid, nice wood and chrome handle, feels nice and hefty. A little touch of luxury for your morning shave. Uses Mach 3 cartridges, eject mechanism works smoothly. Very pleased with the quality for a reasonable price.

Dont get me wrong this is a really nice and sturdy blade holder and seems to be a pretty good quality. My only issues are minor. It is a little too short if it was at least a half inch longer it would be better balanced. The wooden handle is a separate section and it spins and this gets to be a problem when you shave your head. I would like to be able to tighten it somehow. Last thing, the blades clip on and lock but dont sit all the way down when connected even locked in.

The new Mach 3 handles aren’t nearly as nice or heavy as they used to be so I thought I’d try an upgrade. The handle feels so much better and I feel like the weight makes it easier to shave more precisely. Yes, as others said, it’s shorter than the original but really not by much. Not sure what they’re complaining about unless they’re the kind of people that shave while making a fist…

I enjoyed shaving much more from the fist time I used this razor. It is heavier and sturdier than the stock plastic handles.

NOTE: It’s NOT wood, it’s a ceramic handle nicely printed to look like wood. Several reviewers state nice wood, better grip that the other white ceramic handle sister unit. But BOTH handles are ceramic, this one is printed to look like wood. Perhaps because of the printing this has slightly better grip. Seems well made, blade holder is plastic which some have said may be cheaply made… but it functions just fine. will it last years? Dunno, but the Gillette original certainly doesn’t. 🤣

This razor blade handle is easy to hold and glide along my chrome dome of a head. Just wish the handle was a little longer (1 inch) and an ounce heavier but, overall not bad at all compared to the lightweight plastic ones they make now days. I will continue to look for the “perfect” handle but, this will do in the meantime. It works with Gillette turbo 3 blades and locks in without any problems.

1. Works great with Mack 3 - totaly recommend for those blades 2. Not so great is that is a little short, so gripping with larger hands can be a little odd and feel lacking in the palm area. 3. IT is solid construction and feel good ot use with the exception of it not being long enough 4. Buy a stand to hold it, it's heavy which is nice, but hanging from a stand is cool.
