Bird Nest Canary Finch Parrot Nest with Felt（4.5 inches）

Update- he does rest in the nest, and it looks like he has some good space to not be squashed. I’ve had twig nests before, and my previous canaries wouldn’t even perch on them. I don’t know if my new canary will really use this nest since I believe he’s male, but I wanted to give him the option of a place to rest. He does perch on the rim quite a bit, which is an improvement over the twig nests. This does seem like a better size nest for a canary’s body and tail. The twig nests seem a bit small. I also like you can buy replacement felt liners, in case this 1 gets gross. It’s also very sturdy once attached. The twig nest seemed to move a little.

Took my canary one day to accept this new nest, now she loves it.

I bought it because the price was good, it was very sturdy. But my birds never took to it . so it is just a decoration in my cage.

My Canary loves it. I got her some nesting materials as well but she prefers it without. She lays her eggs in it.

I was able to fit nest into a tiny travel cage to use as segue perch up to the sleep swing. The felted pad helps to cushion the area and nest calms bird down from such small confinement. In the regular large cage I use it beneath a feeding cone (for veg/fruit/millet) to catch debris and allow bird 360° access along rim. Easy on/off screw cap well-made.

The nest itself is very good quality however the Finch's won't go near it. They prefer the real nest. I was hopeful because this would be a cleaner option.

I sometimes take the cup out and they just like to land on the rim. Either way, very worth the money. Durable. Will last a long time.
